Here are some tips for you to follow when cleaning your bow:
- To prevent oil and dirt from building up, wipe the bow stick with a soft, lint free cloth after each use. It is very crucial for you to clean your bow stick after each use because it prevents dust build up on the stick and hair.
- You can use denatured alcohol as the cleaning solution.
- Be sure to separate the bow hair from the stick.
- Use a small brush to reach those dirty areas on the Violin Bow.
- Don't wash your violin bow in soap and water!!!
- Don't allow alcohol on wooden parts of the Violin.
- Never allow any cleaning solution to come in contact with the hair
